Curriculum Vitae Barbara Vaessen
09 01 1948 Heiloo, The Netherlands - 21 05 2011 Aegina, Greece

The surroundings are essential for Barbara Vaessen’s glassworks. She uses color, transparency and patterns to transform the light and space. Every location helps create its own unique work of art, whether it’s windows, doorways, room dividers, columns or sculpture. Barbara uses a special
technique that does not require lead. Her works have more freedom to overlap patterns and play with the light creating brilliant illusions.
